Trangia 25-8 UL/HA Stove – Hard Anodised Pans with Kettle Online

The Trangia 25-8 is the classic base camp stove to have and is suitable for groups of about 3-4 people. This popular stove system features a hardanodised finish to give increased durability.

Hardanodising (HA) is a surface treatment that improves, scratching wear and corrosive resistance. This makes it much easier to clean than untreated stove systems.

This UL (ultralight aluminium) stove is 50% stronger than ordinary aluminium. Consequently, less material is required to manufacture the stove making it lighter. The aluminium also allows the stove systems to spread heat quickly and evenly. This means that food does not, for example, burn and stick to the centre of the frying pan. In addition, the hard surface means that the systems are very resistant to scratching and wear.

It makes an excellent family stoves with a 1.5L hardanodised Saucepan, 1.75L hardanodised Saucepan, 220mm hardanodised Frypan and 0.9L aluminium Kettle. With the supports in the raised position, the stove can also be used with large billies.

The original Trangia burner is silent, simple with no moving parts, durable and easy to use. It is easy to light in hot, cold or windy conditions and is lightweight and easy to store between camps. It features a simmering ring which when open and placed over the Trangia meths burner will give a simmering flame, and when closed can be used to extinguish the burner. The screw cap can be used for extinguishing the burner, but first remove the rubber washer from inside the cap as this may melt when extinguishing the burner. (Note, do not screw the burner cap on tightly to the burner whilst the burner is still warm, as when it cools down the cap will become very difficult to remove).
